Overall pretty average
Overall, the management team is pretty responsive, but we have had quite a few things break in our few months here. The rent is a bit expensive for the quality of the apartments and the location is a bit far from campus but not too far by any means. There's lots of other students in the area which is nice and the pool is well kept. The gym is a bit small and may not have everything some people need, but is plenty for what I use it for.

Town Walk
Pros: spacious (huge walk in closets and communal areas), easy parking at the lots, packages do not get stolen, 16 minute drive to school, and management responds quickly to maintenance requests
Cons: way too expensive for what it offers, no utilities included in rent (add about an extra $200/month), and the walls are very thin!!
Neutral: 20 mins from New Haven (depending on how important night life is to you)
We are planning on moving to another place next year.

Town Walk apartments
The apartment is big enough for the 3 of us bedroom and bathroom wise, however, the kitchen is not ideal for 3 roommates to share. Not much counter space or space to move around, so only 1 person can realistically cook dinner at a time. The electricity is extremely expensive every month. I would say the appliances are just ok, the washer machine broke after about 1 month and small things don't work like the light in the refrigerator. Small outdoor balcony space is nice in theory but faces the back / woods and gets no sunlight.

Town Walk at Hamden Hills Review
Its a decent apartment, it has great windows. The lighting around the complex could be better though, and sometimes people hang around outside.

Town Walk
Really great apartment, very convenient. They have increased the price by a couple of hundred dollars when we re-leased, and so we will likely look for a new lease as next year's price will not fit our budget.

Went Downhill after changing ownership
My roommates and I have lived here 3.5 years now as after it was recently bought out by Jones Street, things have changed.
Undergrads are now able to live here, which has drastically increased the noise levels- directly right next to us with thin walls hearing their bass on a weekly basis. This was never informed to us that this change occurred, as I was under the impression this was not allowed.
Also, rent increases from year to year were approximately $50 a month, but once Jones Street bought it, rent increased monthly by ~$200. despite being in the middle of the pandemic.

Town Walk Review
I feel safe, I have plenty of space for myself and my fiance, but it is a bit expensive for the area in my opinion. The floors are carpeted, appliances are not new but function well, laundry in unit is great. There are pet and non-pet buildings.

Solid Option
Very safe area with varying privacy depending on where you are in the complex. Family, student, and pet friendly (breed specific). Cost is a little pricey, but worth it for all around comfort. Decent amenities and community feel. Lots of Netter students choose to live here. Walking distance from Farmington Canal Trail. ~12 min drive to campus.

Town Walk
Town Walk is a big complex so there are lots of options for location/floorplan/views. Consequently, some apartments are better than others so I'd recommend paying attention to where your windows face! No complaints about management or any major issues; the maintenance staff is really helpful and quick to respond to requests. As with all apartments, if you have loud neighbors you'll hear them though I don't think that's more of an issue here than anywhere else.

Have lived here all 4 years of med school and have a very positive experience. Affordability definitely varies depending on the apartment layout.
