The Foundry

Poor and unresponsive management. Apartment was a disaster when I arrived - absolutely filthy. There were clothes from the previous resident littered behind the washer and dryer, oven was pulled out, closets had stains and extremely dirty, broken furniture and plant left outside, door to courtyard did not lock properly, etc… If there was any other place this close to campus I would choose it over the foundry. The value is close to none. There are many other comments about the poor experiences I’ve had related to the mailroom, lack of response from management, but I digress.

Very convenient location, however, almost nothing is included (wifi, trash service, parking, utilities, water etc)

Property is good, door scanning never works.

The location of The Foundry is unparalleled. It is right in the center of everything. However, the management company is horrendous. They take forever to respond to anything and are inept most of the time. Despite this, I would likely still live in The Foundry for the sheer ease of commuting to campus.

Its ok, not a lot of great options. Could be better could be worse.

I like the foundry because it is close to campus.

New building, clean, good neighbors, GREAT location.

I'm not sure how to describe the management because it is unclear if they actually exist. Getting a lease here was like pulling teeth. Describing them as unresponsive would be a compliment. I wish I could give the leasing department a negative score.

On another note, Steve the maintenance guy is great.

Nice place to live but not great management

The best location - 8 minute walk to Notre Dame Stadium. Lots of amenities (Restaurants, Grocery) nearby. It is expensive though. And the property management company can be non-responsive.

I've enjoyed my time living at Foundry. Some people have complained about having a poor maintenance experience but I have been satisfied whenever I had to submit a work order. Having a sauna and a gym downstairs is great and a parking garage is a blessing during winter. My apartment is very nice and offers plenty of space. The closet and bathroom are both huge. Rent is definitely not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
