Really great location and amenities but expensive

This is the closest apartment building to Owen so I can get to the classroom in under 5 minutes. There have also been no issues with management or the building and maintenance is always responsive. The midtown area also has a lot of options for fun and food.

Great Apartment and Location!

My experience has been great. It's the best location for an Owen student. It is right across the street from the school. The amenities are great. If there is a choice, opt for the south tower because people have trouble with the north tower elevators.

As a student at Vanderbilt's Owen School of Management you can't get a better location! Ideal housing option for graduate students.

I really enjoy living at Aertson Midtown! It is only a 10 minute walk from class, I’m right next to a bunch of restaurants and bars, there are great amenities at the apartment building (study lounge, pool, rooftop, and gym), and it’s fairly quiet! Only downside is you have to pay for parking and there isn’t any guest parking.

Can’t get better than the convenience of being right in midtown!

I really enjoy living at the Aertson, especially because of how close it is to campus and how many other students live here.

The experience has been great! It has been an easy transition into this apartment complex, especially as an out-of-state student.

I love my apartment. There's plenty of space, I get my own bathroom in my bedroom (both rooms have attached bath). Rent is fair. But management is not responsive and maintenance requests sit in the queue for a long time.

Positive Experience

My experience at the Aertson has been great. The floors are quiet, the apartments are modern, and I believe most (if not all) units have floor-to-ceiling windows which provide great natural light. I have had no issues with the actual apartment itself. There are two main challenges that standout (1) the elevators and (2) management. The elevators are extremely slow and generally (on the north side in particular) one elevator is almost always out of service or down. This isn't a huge issue but can be quite inconvenient. It happens more often than not. I would also say the management has been challenging to deal with. They are kind people but very slow to respond via email or even phone. I often have to send 3-4 emails and cc the manager in order to get a response. There have been multiple times I've called and left a message with no return call and I had to go down to the office. High turnover in the leasing office which leads to knowledge gaps, poor communication, and often mistakes or incorrect information when asking questions or when you need assistance with an issue.
