Foundry Studio Apartment
I love the convenience of the location of the foundry so close to bars, restaurants, and of course to Mendoza!
The management of the building is lacking at times and often disorganized. Packages and mail at the foundry is very difficult and packages are often not delivered to the correct building/ mailroom.
Overall, it’s a great location and many other Mendoza students live there as well creating a great community.

Overall positive
Apartment is nice but experience with the leasing office is very dependent on who you speak with. Overall positive experience.

New apartment in best location
The Foundry South is a new building right in the heart of Eddy Street. Although slightly more expensive, the location and ability to pop down to a restaurant, shop, Starbucks, or campus makes it very convenient.

Foundry
Apartment has a great location. Close to campus and is on Eddy Street which offers restaurants and bars etc. Property is managed poorly - elevator does not always work and they are not responsive. Probably because of the monopoly like position the company has.

The Foundry is an excellent place to live
The Foundry is a very accommodating apartment. My studio is spacious enough for just me and if I am feeling a bit cramped there are study rooms on every floor that are usually open and free to use. I feel safe considering you must have a key to enter the building and a key to get to your apartment. The close proximity to campus makes it easy to walk to class. There are plenty of people walking to and from campus and the walk way is well lit.

Review
Great spot to live. Close to campus and near restaurants and bars. Unfortunately, being in Foundry North, we were not made aware that we would not have access to the amenities in Foundry South (pool, grills, larger workout room).

Foundry Review
Nice apartment in great location for Mendoza students. Not the best management with slow response time to inquiries and issues.

Foundry South
Brand new building with a gym, sauna, pool, and multiple common areas with BBQs. Units all have in unit laundry, dishwasher, SS appliances, etc. That being said walls are thin and you can hear quite a bit of noise from the hallway/other units. It's also the most expensive building in SB....
It's advertised as being grad (21+) but that didn't occur due to COVID - many undergrads were in the building due to ND changing their residency policy/forcing the management to accepting them. Lots of issues with noise/partying from undergrads during weekdays and gamedays. Mgmt has said this shouldn't be an issue next year as they are putting all of them in one building.....we'll see if that actually happens.

Foundry Living
So far I've loved living at The Foundry. The apartment is new construction and located on Eddy Street- one of the main streets in South Bend. It's also just a 10 minute walk to the business school. The one downside is the rent price.

Safe and Comfortable
I feel safe and am comfortable, but it is pricey. I do walk to Mendoza from Foundry South.
