Overlook at Notre Dame

The Overlook certainly gets the job done when it comes to convenience (about a 10-12 minute walk to campus) and quality (new building, nothing to complain about here). The small gym and ample parking are also positive items to note.

Having said that, The Overlook isn't the best option when it comes to value. The price seems to reflect their convenient location, and is a bit high for the amenities they offer. It also isn't the most exciting of places to live, some might call it a bit "sleepy".

Overall I have had a wonderful experience at the overlook, only thing I can say is that it’s not on Eddy street with all the food options

Overlooks is super close to campus, and a great location. About a 10 minute walk to class. Their management is a little unreliable at times (broken elevator, no water, no hot water, no power, etc.). There is definitely effort from the management to engage the residents (instagram competitions, coffee bar, etc). The experience was still positive for me though as my friends were split between Overlook and Foundry.

Overlook has a lot of fellow MBA students which helped me meet people at the beginning of the semester. Maybe not the fanciest or nicest amenities but it has everything you need. 15/20 minute walk to classes at Mendoza. Couple of hot water issues/power outages but think that’s affected every apartment at some point.

No major complaints, great views and super close to campus. Enjoyed living here for 2 years

Close to everything! Many fellow MBA live in the same apartment complex!

It’s been mostly good. Good quality, good staff. Only downsides: price (could live in downtown Dallas for the same price) and hit-or-miss amenity availability

Great location and great pricing compared to Foundry.

Definitely a value play in the area, Danny Boy is underrated too as a bar. Campus and Martin's is walkable.

Multiple issues with power going out and hot water being cold. Management can be better about proactively communicating issues.

Have enjoyed my experience at Overlook. Easy walk to Mendoza. Not as much going on nearby, unlike Foundry, but I like the fact that it is kind of an escape from the noise of Eddy St

The location is great, the apartment comes furnished, I have my own bedroom, I have a parking space for my car, everything except electricity and parking is included in my rent. For the price, I’d say it’s the best option available that I’ve seen
