The Quarters at Bloomington

Amenities you pay for never work, absolute waste of money. Shuttles barely work, coffee machine broken half the time, no reliability or answers from management at all. Avoid living here if you can, there are much, much better places in Bloomington.

The Apartment Complex has amazing amenities and is furnished which makes life easier when moving. They have a package delivery system, pool, and gym on site. They also have a fully enclosed parking garage for $25/month. They also have their own shuttle service so it's not an issue if you don't have a car

The Quarters at Bloomington is a fully furnished apartment located in West Bloomington. They have their own private shuttle to take you to and from campus, and the apartments are nice. The maintenance process is super quick, and the leasing office is super responsive. Package delivery is very secure as well as building access. Rent is very reasonable and $20 garage parking is a steal! Rent includes Internet, but you pay utilities separately
Only drawback is that your parking spot may not be right next to your building and same with the gym. The apartment may come a little scuffed up but as long as you note it down you won't get charged. Also a little smaller than I thought so make sure to tour it in person.

Far away from campus, no extra amenities (pool, common area, dog park/stations), and management is unhelpful and sends e-mails yelling at the residents all the time. The apartments are nice but have poor construction, so I am not expecting much of my security deposit back and there are huge gaps in the doors so it is expensive to heat and cool.

The apartment is very nice and works well. However, it is about a 15 min drive from campus and everything and electricity is expensive. No lights in Bedroom either.

overall good experience, specially for those that dont mind not being right at the middle of downtown, having a shuttle service has been convenient since as an international student this was more of a challenge. other services like access to a private gym and the clubhouse provide perks that most other downtown places dont have.

For those looking for a quiet, clean, quality place to live, Bloom is the place to be. Located southwest of campus, it is not in the middle of the nightlife or campus, but is a short drive from most places you'll need to go. It has a great workout facility and apartments are spacious. Highly recommend for young professionals or grad students looking for a quiet place to live outside of downtown.
