Adams Village
Love my apartment!
Pro:
- private entrance
- balcony
- bonus “basement” room in my particular unit which works as basically a 3rd bedroom
- pool
- clubhouse w/ gym
- another weight lifting gym
- dog park
- plenty of space (especially for a couple or roommates)
- 1 car garage
- grills throughout the property
Cons:
- about a 10 minute drive to law school
- not on a close bus route
- sometimes we can smell what our neighbors are cooking through the vents
- not sure if it’s just my location, but sometimes it gets extremely hot in my place and can be super expensive to heat and run the AC

Nice Apartments, kind of far from Campus
These are nice apartments. Big floorplans. Good management. Pool and gym are well maintained. Apartments with garages are available.
Only downsides are that its kind of far from campus and there's nothing social nearby.

Excellent place to live
I lived in some heinous apartments in Bloomington before moving here, and the difference is stark. This is a proper apartment complex with a dedicated office of resident managers who actually care about the well-being of the tenants. This is not dumpy student housing. It’s not the cheapest, but you will not have to worry about whether maintenance will show up or when the next raging party starts upstairs or next door. If you want a low-stress environment, this is absolutely the place to be. My only gripe is the distance from campus and lack of shuttle or public transportation nearby.
