I Love Living Here

I originally looked in Clifton so that I could be within walking distance to school, but all of the places I found were either total dumps or totally overpriced. Then I branched out to Walnut Hills and found Windsor Flats. The building was previously a CPS elementary school built in 1888, and it was converted into apartments a few years ago. Tall ceilings, historic character, and lots of natural light. The building manager and maintenance folks are very receptive, and the neighbors are friendly. There’s no gym and gated parking costs extra (although there’s always plenty of street parking), but you’re within walking distance to Eden Park and all of the neat development happening on McMillan Street and Peebles Corner. The no. 31 bus goes straight to the law school if you don’t feel like driving, and the nos. 11 and 17 take you right downtown. All in all a great place to live.
