The Yard
The pros of living at the Yard include that it is a relatively short walk to campus, a significant number of law students (at least in my year and the year above me) live in the building, and it is furnished.
The cons outweigh the pros. The rent is expensive and the building is poorly run. You are not given a choice in selecting your apartment, and my roommate and I were placed in a first floor unit that is 10 feet away from the train tracks - it is very hard to sleep with the noise of the train. The building staff is often rude and unresponsive. The building staff frequently lose packages and I find the hallways to often be dirty. If I were to select housing again, I would not choose to live in the Yard.

Mediocre at best
The Yard... exists. It is close and convenient to campus and the building itself is fine - good pool, amenities, apartments themselves, etc. That said, the building's on-site management is woefully bad. Unresponsive to emails/calls, charges added to accounts with no explanation. Similarly, the building has become over-run with undergrads. The floors, hallways, common areas, and elevators are always dirty and in the 3+ years I've lived here - I've never seen any general building maintenance.

Do not live here
The Yard continues to take advantage of students and it is absolutely disgusting. They lied about what amenities were included and then took those amenities away, even though the leases say they will be included. They increase rent $400-500 every single year even though absolutely nothing is changed. Management is absolutely horrible and I would not recommend anyone live here.

Decent Apartment
Living at the Yard has been fine so far, the train can be noisy at night though. Also the Yard is well-run, but not super close to a lot of food options.

Terrible management and breachers of the lease contract
There are things in the least that they don't actually have and the management is rude, unhelpful, and disrespectful. The bedrooms are small and the door scheme makes no sense. The building materials are janky. The kitchen and the common spaces are nice, and the amenities are nice. They said there is cable in the lease, which we are paying for, and they took it out without warning anyone and are not providing compensation for it. The wifi works sometimes. They have a big jumbotron TV in the courtyard, but they refuse to turn it on. The grills were broken for a while but they fixed them. The TVs on the gym equipment have no real channels. The people who work in the office are the worst. There is not much storage space. Packages are strewn all about the lobby for anybody to steal, which has happened multiple times this year, so don't get anything important shipped to you at The Yard. The printer works sometimes. The AC works sometimes. The train goes loudly by at 4:30 am most nights.

Solid property, awful management
The layout is fine, and the amenities are solid. But the staff are generally unpleasant people who give you attitude whenever you ask them a question. They've been spoken to over the course of the semester and are now trying harder, but it's still a problem
