Good Experience at 618 S Main
I have been living here for 2 years, and it has been overall a positive experience. It's in a really convenient location and is overall, very quiet (with the exception of traffic sounds and foot traffic on game days).

618 South Main
618 South Main is a great apartment for law students! It’s definitely a little pricey, but the building is well maintained, the location is amazing and it is a 10 minute walk from the law school, and the amenities, such as the gym and pool are pretty nice. WiFi and water are included in the rent, but utilities are separate. The maintenance team is amazing and they fix issues very promptly. The management team is alright, but after move-in, you do not need to deal with them much. Parking is $200/month in the climate-controlled garage. A nice plus is bagel + donut Fridays every Friday!

It's great!
It's clean, safe, and well-maintained. Pricey, but I love it.

Good for law school, wouldn’t want to live there beyond that
It has everything we need! Management is pretty responsive and location is great for getting to the law school. With that said, it’s a little cookie cutter and has some of the classic big apartment building flaws, like no overhead lights in many rooms

Safe and convenient!
618 South Main is in a great location compared to the law school. I walk back and forth sometimes between classes if I have a large break. There is a free Starbucks machine in the lobby, which I frequently use. However, I do feel that the rent is extremely expensive to be paying as a student.

It's not cheap but checks all the boxes
I think it's at the tail-end of walking distance to Ross. I think the management team here is fine, but the maintenance team is a little behind. I live in a great unit and I don't think anyone from Ross who lives here complains. It is on the expensive end, but I didn't have many options because I was admitted to school late. Most walls are thick and you don't hear neighbors, except my unit has a very thin wall next to my neighbor's bedroom (but I am a corner unit, so your mileage may vary).

Very central
Lots of MBAs live here! It’s pricey but unfortunately pretty much market rate for downtown Ann Arbor. It’s great to be able to walk to Ross, downtown, and the stadium very easily. Super quiet and management is very responsive. I wish the hot tub was actually hot- but they are too cheap to heat it above lukewarm.
Also literally nothing is included in rent. Parking is $200/mo, water is $30, electricity is self paid (usually about $100), storage locker is $25, dogs are $35, even the package locker is $5/month.

pros n cons
New management is not great but the apartment location and community otherwise is great

Lots of MBAs, great location
Lots of MBAs live in the building, which allows you to be social when you want to be. The location is perfect between Ross, downtown, and the stadium. The walls are very thick so you can't hear neighbors. The in unit washers are very convenient but a little old. They are in the process of replacing them.
