Maplewood is easy living!
Maplewood is great. It's a short 10 minute walk to Sage or Collegetown. The complex is generally quiet yet full of life. The community is very pet friendly. Rent is cheap compared to anywhere else, and the accommodations are quite nice.
Parking can be tough, there is ongoing maintenance because it's a new complex (but almost no noise), and if you're afraid of dogs you might feel more comfortable at CTT, as it's impossible not to run into them here.

Noise
Experience last fall was incredibly painful with the building delays and construction. The management team is not great. Building are new, but the construction is poor and walls are thin. If your apartment faces a parking lot and is on a lower floor and is near one of the new garbage compacters, you will hear them multiple times a day, they compacters are loud. Maintenance is not great at responding quickly. The gym is decent.

Review for Maplewood Apartments
I really like the apartment itself - everything is brand new, there is a lot of light as the apartment is on the side of the building, and there is a lot of space for 2 people relative to other Maplewood apartments that I have seen. However, the management company is a disaster. Anything related to maintenance requests, spur of the moment updates (our bedding frames needed to be replaced over the break when no one was here, among other inconveniences), needing to move in 2 months late, was not ideal. I am hoping this was due to this being the first year that the apartments are available and that these were growing pains, but that is not an assumption that I am confident in.

Its just a bit far away from C-Town and campus (~20 minute walk) and many students live in CTT.

Maplewood Apartments
Since this is a newly constructed building, the furniture and apartments are very nice and clean. The beds are very comfy since they are Tempurpedic. I also like that there's a gym in the community center so I can easily workout close to home. Additionally, there are great places to run nearby. There's a bus stop right outside the community that makes access to Sage easy if you don't want to walk. It takes about 15 min to walk (flat walk) to Sage. 10 minute walk to Breazzano/Collegetown. There are a lot of Johnson students who live in Maplewood which provides a sense of community. I also really like that all utilities are included so I only have one payment for rent per month.
There are some downfalls to living in Maplewood. Management is not particularly friendly or easy to work with. They provide a lot of last minute updates and expect you to be able to adapt. Additionally, they aren't great at answering questions. Walls are pretty thin so you hear most of what your neighbors are doing.

Brand new with some growing pains
Great location if you plan to walk to and from campus or Collegetown. Brand-new apartments are great, however the community is still partly a construction zone. Generally quite quiet. Very pet-friendly, so you must love dogs.

Great affordable graduate student housing
Facilities are well taken care of. Apartment office holds packages and is very organized. Great price for all-inclusive, furnished housing.

Brand new townhome, great value
Maplewood was delayed and they are still working out the kinks, but my fiance and I love our townhome. It's 2 stories (and a 3rd story where we enter), 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, everything is brand new, and we have windows on 3 sides. It is the same price as a 1-bedroom at CTT. Flat 12-minute walk to campus.
