Spacious with charm, good value, no issues
The building is very charming, and overall quiet. Residents keep to themselves, and I have not had any issues. The management is flexible and responsive. The units are very spacious, with a good amount of storage. There are big windows in the bedroom and living room, but the building is fairly close to it's neighboring buildings, so I only have direct daylight for a few hours a day.
There is a garage, with optional parking for a very affordable rate -- I think $50/month. There is a bike rack in the garage for community use. Laundry is on-site, coin-op, but the rates are cheaper than my friends with a similar situation.
The apartments are kept up in pretty good condition, especially for how old the building is (1920?).
Location:
There are a couple of businesses nearby -- a coffee shop, two pizza places, dry cleaners, nail salon, watch doctor, and local pub. Then, within a 10-15 minute walk, you can be in the Eastlake neighborhood which has even more options. Close proximity to I-5 and the 520 bridge.
