Overall nice place
Overall, good experience living in the Marquis at Turtle Creek. The building is in a nice location - not right in the thick of Uptown, but close enough to walk to bars and restaurants. The only downfall of the area is that as new apartments have gone up nearby, MTC has felt the need to keep up with numerous renovations, making rent steadily climb. It used to be affordable, but is no longer that way. More apartments nearby has also heavily increased traffic in the area. The apartments themselves are nice, especially with the new granite countertops that have been put in. Ceilings are high and rooms are generally spacious. Huge patios on most first floor apartments, which is a nice bonus! Garage parking is included in rent. The building typically feels safe, however there have been multiple break ins in cars in the garage, and management hasn't wanted to invest in added security despite their upgrades elsewhere in the building. Pool is nice, as is workout room, even though it's a bit small. Management is overall friendly and responsive. Maintenance is perhaps the best thing about this complex - they are extremely quick to respond and very helpful. Best maintenance I've experienced in an apartment complex! Overall, I've enjoyed my time here.

Good Place for now
Marquis at Turtle Creek was a great place when we first moved in. A little frustrated that we won't be able to renew because they want to update the apartment. It isn't convenient to relocate into another apartment in the same building (for a higher monthly rent). The pool area is nice. The gym could be bigger. It would be nice if it had some of the amenities the Marquis at Cedar Spring has like the kitchen or office. There is no guest parking, and parking on the side streets has become a nightmare. Their maintenance department is great though!

Beautiful renovations
We just got married and moved into this newly renovated apartments. So far has been a great and safe experience. Only downside is closer is too small for two people. Overall recommend this apartment to anyone! Great location!

Great Apartment, Poor Management
I loved my apartment at the Marquis at Turtle Creek, the only complaint I have was with the management. Every time it rained, the hallway outside my door would flood, packages were never delivered on time, and the maintenance call line was very unreliable.

Oak Lawn Reviews
This is a very active neighborhood with a bar scene on the weekends. There are homeless people who live around here, but they have never bothered me. While I wouldn't call it a dangerous neighborhood, there is probably a little more crime than some larger complexes such as the Village.
