Location phenomenal but lots of nickel and diming
Location is fabulous, short walk away to rosslyn metro and peaceful neighborhood. However Bernstein loves to charge residents for petty things (had free printing- taken away, utilities go up to $150 in the winter because it’s averaged over all apartments, unkept promises about amenities with “complementary” amenities fee, etc). Plus laundry costs at minimum $5 to wash and dry. It’s good if you want to be close but this place is not a bargain. Management office is somewhat responsive but unfortunately this is another overpriced building.

Convenient and remodeled spaces!
GUTS Bus stops right in front of the building, but if you miss it, it is a 8 min walk to the GUTS Bus at Rosslyn Metro Station. Spaces are remodeled so appliances are new, very clean amenities (lobby, amazing study space, residents lounge, laundry, bike room, gym). Only thing is that a lot of remoddeling is going on (Grillers and I installation of one W/D on each floor, besides the actual laundry room). Additionally, package room is not set up yet so you have to look through all packages to find yours.

Value for money apartment
This is actually a hotel with studio and 1-bedroom apartments. They lease some apartments out to Georgetown students and employees. The apartments are well-furnished and some have been renovated. However, this is an old building and rats can occasionally be seen roaming around the complex. We even had a rat in our apartment but the problem was quickly sorted out by the building management.
