STL Citywide Gates at Forest Park
Overall a pretty good apartment. Maintenance is responsive. Had to clean a lot when I first moved in due to lack of proper cleaning beforehand. Though gated parking is included in rent, I did not receive access to it until 2 months after I had moved in. Apartment itself is pretty spacious and has everything I need, including in unit washer dryer.

Awful Management, Do Not Live Here or Any Other Properties
The management here is absolutely terrible. Packages are constantly stolen and "lost," and they do nothing about it. They give less than 24 hours notice for multiple things that one should have more than 24 hours notice for, and then attempt to punish the tenant if they cannot oblige. The rent is also far too much. Please, live further away from the school to avoid the unnecessarily high prices in the Forest-Park Debalievere area.

Good place to live, but management sucks
Good place to live. Forest Park is about a 5 min walk away. It's about a 10-15 min drive to the Law School. Clara avenue is a quiet street with lots of trees. The apartment itself was nice too. Everything was in good condition.
The worst part is dealing with STL Citywide. They are a truly awful company. So, if you don't mind haggling with management, go for it.

Gates at Forest Park (City Wide)
My wife and I love our unit. We live in a corner unit and it gets great sunlight with lots of windows. The unit itself is in good shape, the whole building has very new counter tops, floors, etc. The only negatives about our unit are that the windows are old and drafty and the storm windows don't work very well on most windows (although old windows are a common theme in many city apartments) and the walls are quite thin (our neighbors are loud). The location has been great and we feel incredibly safe here, both in and out of the building which is the most important thing for us. It has a code on the entrances and is a generally quiet and comfortable area. The only negatives are that management is hit or miss depending on what you need help with --they've been very responsive to any maintenance issues in our unit, but on the other hand, they are not great at managing common spaces. For example, they let garbage pile up and overflow in the parking lot fairly regularly and only one of the two elevators has worked the entire time we've lived here. Ultimately, these common space issues don't really affect us too much, and for the price we pay compared to other places in the area we're happy with what we get here. It's super safe and comfortable, we really like our unit, the price is pretty fair for the area, and the location is close to anything we need and is close to campus.

Totally satisfied except the area
Maintenance gets things fixed quickly, my neighbors are quiet, and the place is exactly what I needed: in-unit washer/dryer, hard wood floors, lots of windows. My only complaint is the area—it’s not the safest so you really have to be careful about that. I parked outside of the gated lot one night & my gas got stolen. Other than that, I’m really happy here.

Probably Staying Three Years
Rent is a bit high for a 1bd but excellent space, and practically arranged. Few minor issues but granite counters, stainless appliances, in unit washer and dryer, pet friendly, double gated parking. Not in the middle of anything but near everything. Good spot.

Above average apartment
The neighborhood is pretty quiet and the building is a ten minute walk to the metro—only two stops to the law school. They allow pets, and the residents are mostly young professionals or grad students. Managment company isn’t horrible like some. Apartment is fairly small—especially the kitchen. Laundry in unit is nice, but it’s crammed into the small kitchen. Lots of storage, though!
