Review of Mosaic at Mueller
For students who don't want to live in the immediate area, the Mueller neighborhood provides a good alternative. This apartment complex was the first to be built in this area, so it is older and more affordable than the other apartment buildings in this neighborhood. This provides some positive aspects as well as some drawbacks. I have seen management use this as an excuse to avoid responsibility and generally lack in responsiveness. There is a mix of younger people and families. I have heard mixed things from tenants but generally have had no issues regarding noise, but there have been issues regarding cleanliness in general areas -- particularly pet waste. Management doesn't follow up or prioritize holding owners accountable. There are varying differences between units and what types of improvements are in each one, which makes it difficult to know what to expect for what you are actually moving into. Management has also been evasive and not truthful regarding different issues and I had a lot of issues moving into a new unit that had not occurred previously, and can only point to the new management company as a reason. You will not receive much follow up or accountability. Some things like the gate to the parking garage and door system will be malfunctioning for months on end. It is a great area to live in, and this management company is definitely relying on that. The amenities are a bonus, but the maintenance and cleanliness are not ideal. Maintenance for the building is generally good and there have been no issues.

Great location
This place is great. There is a bus line directly to campus, and it is cheaper than other options that are walking distance. It is right next to a park, which is very important for destressing or getting some air after a long day.

Decent
I like my apartment a lot. It is spacious and comfortable and the kitchen is good. Could use some more storage. Parking is good, sometimes there is not space on my floor to park. Close enough to campus, I take the Metro to school (the 10 bus) and I haven't had any issues. It picks up right outside and drops off right in front of school.
Management is fine, but often slow to respond to issues. Generally responsive to maintenance requests when needed, but the admin is slow always. Sometimes trash/ dog waste in the hallways and the admin will just send out a message not to leave that out, which hasn't made too much of an effect, and often the waste will not be cleaned for a couple days anyway. They promised fiber internet coming in August, but it is October and we're still dealing with Spectrum internet that isn't always reliable. Overall I don't regret living here but definitely think I am overpaying, but I cannot imagine that is a rare sentiment anywhere in Austin these days.
Mueller is developing a lot, which creates traffic issues, as well as causing some sidewalks to be closed. Things are being built everywhere, no idea when that will end. We have a few great parks and the neighborhood is overall walkable. Lots of good restaurants, some bars, near HEB and Alamo Drafthouse. More stuff opening soon, too!

Does the job
Mosaic is very convenient and is the perfect location for pet owners, parents, and law students who don’t want to see other law students all the time. The only issue is that Mosaic/Mueller area is always under construction allllll the time, meaning that there’s always some minor inconvenience or another at any given time.

Cheap, and good location
It is near a park, near an HEB, and a close drive from campus. The area around is growing and there are coffee shops and other businesses in walking distance.

Sufficient
The apartments vary from unit to unit, so ideally you can see the exact unit before you rent. For example, we first lived in a one-bedroom apartment in this building and the floors were very different. Our current apartment has nicer finishings, but since we are in an interior corner, the apartment has very little natural light. Overall, however, the apartment community is decent. The gym is actually good, whereas at many places the actual equipment is quite limited. Importantly, the HEB supermarket is very close, as is the Alamo Drafthouse movie theatre.

Great apartment with easy access to all the Mueller development has to offer
Great apartment with easy access to all the Mueller development has to offer, including the best HEB, Alamo drafthouse, and several restaurants/coffee shops within a 5 minute walk.

Okay Place to live
The Mosaic at Mueller is a fairly nice apartment complex that has regular maintenance issues. In the past we have experience problems with entry door handles being ripped off and not replaced for months, FOB scanners periodically stop working, and the package concierge is constantly not working.

Hip Austin Apartment with Much Privacy
The Mosaic at Mueller is very modern and gives residents a lot of privacy. The management and facility staff are very helpful and responsive. There wasn't a lot of socializing because the apartments are set so far apart and there are a lot of dogs which made the hallways messy sometimes.

Amazing place to live
Love Mosaic, especially for the location. You can walk at the park around the lake, great HEB close by. Shopping and restaurants all within a few blocks. There is a lot of construction going on though, for good or for bad. Means more things to do but less parking in the future.
