Good Place, But Four Star is the New Property Manager

Apartments are dated, but large. Four Star has now purchased the complex and will be renovating and changing the spaces to accommodate more rooms in the apartments. I plan to move because Four Star is not a great company to rent from - they have already upped costs. Additionally, they are going to up the rent and lessen the amount of space (i.e. one bedrooms are becoming 2+).

Review for a studio apt

I like where I live, management is helpful if there are any maintenance issues and its a very short walk to the law school!

Overpriced, but decent enough

Nice balcony with every apartment, attentive maintenance, heated garage (for $25/month), lots of storage and closets, and VERY close to the law school. However, it is a lot of money $1400/mo for an apartment straight out of the 1970s (popcorn ceilings, asbestos, carpeted floors EVERYWHERE) and you have to pay for laundry. No in-units. It's fine, but not great.

Kensington Apartment

The apartment is very quite and a nice place to live. The apartments are big and clean. The internet is free but slow so one would have to buy their own WiFi. You have to pay for laundry and the gym is very small. Overall a good place to live.

Kensington Apartments

The location is the main reason I chose to live here--it's half a mile from the CU campus and also close to several restaurants and other businesses. The building is dated but still nice, and the staff has been friendly whenever I've interacted with them. The building has its own heated parking garage and a small fitness center, which are bonuses to the great location. A little expensive but the units are quite large. The complex is quiet most of the time (excessive noise is hardly ever a problem). The complex doesn't allow pets unless the pet is a service animal.

The neighborhood is surprisingly quiet considering how close to campus it is. There are plenty of students who live in the area, mixed in with professionals and young couples. There are many dogs in the area as well.
Neighborhood is all apt. complexes filled with students. I have no safety concerns in the neighborhood--though some people get annoyed by undergraduate partying (I don't).
Close to the school and Dark Horse, just make sure you don't leave your bike outside.
Good location, safe, bars and shops nearby. Easy access to buses
this neighborhood is mostly residential. if you are looking to live close to lots of bars and restaurants it might not be for you. however it is quiet and very near to the law school so if those are your priorities it is perfect.
Close to campus, Creek Path, and grocery stores. Not much in terms of restaurants or bars but you're walking distance to the 29th Street Mall and next to public transit.
Easy access to everything whether it be local buses into "downtown boulder"
2 supermarkets nearby
Cosmo's and other restaurants are also very close.
Lots of other apartments and students, not too loud ever, never have to deal with annoying neighbors
