Agent

I found an agent online who helped me find a house they recommended. Apartment is good but expensive.

Okay

My experience at this residence has been average so far. There are things to be bothered by, but it is not terrible for a temporary residence (my program, and therefore my time at this housing, is less than a full year).

Not good and not bad

The house is too old and some furniture needed to be maintained.

The environment of the community is good.

Walking Distance

Overall my apartment is in a great location. Walking distance to campus, takes me about 7-10 mins to reach the, University center, Business school, student center, Langson library or Aldrich Park. The community has a nice pool area with barbecue grills and a Jacuzzi. The common space in the apartment is spacious and you get a full kitchen. The second bedroom is a bit tight and not much closet space but the master bedroom does have a large closet that can be shared. If you get a chance, check out a model apartment without furnishings so you get an idea of what you can expect.

Getting around University Town Center

University Town Center Reviews

It's great to live at UTC as a student, there's always a lot of people studying and many food shops in the shopping center to study at.
Convenient to get groceries. Great place to hang out with your friends.
The University town center is good, lots of fast food restaurants and the headquarters to In n' Out burger. UTC has a post office, FedEx, Amazon store, Insomnia cookies and much more. There is also a target, trader joe's and Eureka bar/restaurant for mingling with friends. Some things are pricey but if your smart with your finances and are willing to just outside of the area you can save money. Quick tip if you shop often at target get a target card it will save you 5% on everything and they add up.
It is quiet and convenient to campus, UTC and the park. Some of the apartments have a garage which is a great plus if you can get a unit with one!
I don't know my neighborhood.
Very convenient and safe.
There are restaurants, supermarkets, UPS/USPO and campus around here.
