OHo 2 BR for roommates
Location is great. I have gotten my sprint to the current-Jake down to 8 minutes, and it's very close to restaurants and stores. Building staff / doorpeople are friendly. Amenities include gym, patio with grills, and pool. Apartment is spacious and still feels new. Rooms are difficult to split between roommates because they vary in size and temperature. (Example: master bedroom en-suite bathroom but is cold in the winter. Second bedroom is pretty crammed with bathroom mostly used by guests across the whole, but the temperature is better.)

Optima Horizon 2 bedrom
The best part of living in Optima Horizons is that there are a lot of other Kellogg students. The first week of school I met some of my closest friends through my building. My apartment is also very modern with hardwood floors. The one downside is that since it is a condo you have to contact your landlord for any issues. Our landlord is not the most responsive so it can take a while to get things done.

Great Location.
The building is quiet but filled with Kellogg Students. The location can't be beat.

Great location, comfortable building
I've loved living in Optima Horizons! The location is great, though the Global Hub will be further away (as is the case for most apartment buildings current students live in). Great management and units, and lots of Kellogg students keeps it social.

Very satisfied
I have really enjoyed living in Optima Horizons so far. I think the rent is very reasonable considering that everything is included. I have a fantastic lake view and have found the management to be competent so far. Location is perfect too, although it will be a bit of a walk to the new building. My unit's kitchen is a little outdated and I wish my closet was bigger, but overall it's great apartment.

Good value: affordable rent, spacious, clean
Horizons is a pretty great option for anyone looking for a 2-bedroom apartment with 2 bath. It is a fairly good value for Evanston rent standards compared to surrounding high rises. Rooms are spacious, kitchens are (usually) upgraded, and apartments have in-unit washer/dryers.

Beautiful views but apartments vary significantly
Because the building is condos, it is very well kept and generally quiet. Only 20% of units are allowed to be rented and they are mostly Kellogg students (we have 4 Kellogg students living on our floor). The apartments themselves can vary a lot depending on who own them (some are very updated, some less so) so make sure to ask for pictures. Also check the floor plans - there are some really funky ones

Great place for pets
Expensive, but a great place to live for a Kellogg Student. The other catch is that each unit is different so you really need to check it out before renting since you are stuck with a 2 year lease with no subleasing.
Only other bad part is management is strict on all their rules. Move-in Move out fees for the condo complex. And doesn't have super high ceilings like other options (e.g. Galleria). Other than that this place is perfect, has a gym, has parking, most utilities are covered, lots of dogs and students in the building, etc.

Kellogg "dorm" thats close to pretty much everything
Optima Horizons has a disproportionate number of Kellogg students, which makes it a great place to live either alone or with a roommate. It is about as close as you can be to the Jake (about a 7 minute walk) yet is still very convenient to downtown Evanston. In addition, it's very close to both trains. The building, while not brand new, is still very nice and the management does a good job of keeping it that way. Sometimes, they can be a bit strict with some rules, but for the most part, this doesn't create any problems. OH is not cheap, and some other buildings in Evanston potentially offer more amenities, but for the prices that most people pay, it's a nice, clean building that is very safe and convenient. The gym is pretty lousy, but I think the pool and hot tub are the most underutilized benefits of the place. In addition, cable and internet are included in the building fees at a nominal cost to you. All units are owner-managed, so prices can vary, but rent is generally cheaper for units on the west-facing side of the building.

Great Building, but can get a bad landlord
The building is great, close to campus and bars. The price is competitive with other with similar characteristics (although this one is a little small for the price). One issue with the management is that they have been doing a lot of maintenance work on the pool, and because of that it has been close for at least 6 month.
