I love The Granary. The floor plans are spacious and attractive, with all the in-unit amenities I required. It is conveniently located by Target and Whole Foods, with Trader Joe's and Giant on my walk home from the law school. The commute to school is quite easy to walk, but there is also a convenient bus route practically door-to-door.

Overall, I’ve enjoyed living at the Granary. Its location somewhat removed from Center City means I’m not always getting distracted by the goings of the city, and the Fairmount area is very beautiful, sporting several museums and other amenities nearby. Highly recommend!

I was the first to live in this apartment. I have been here 3 years and I love it. the location is great, whole foods near by a gym, great places to eat. very close to Center City. I couldn't say enough good things about the staff they are very helpful. the only draw back is the price but I think it is worth it.

I have lived here for almost 2 years. It is on the more expensive side but it is well worth it for someone in residency or in any busy career. Everything is new (approx 3 years) so there is no worrying about things breaking down and if there is an issue, maintenance and front desk are available 24/7. The building is clean, lots of young professionals especially medical residents/fellows, 10-15 minute walk into Center City but you don't have to deal with Center City traffic. Neighborhood is safe and there is a Whole Foods around the corner. The apartments are beautiful and include all new appliances. There is a rooftop area with a grill, community space which is great for hosting parties or lounging, gym is accessible 24/7, and the property management organizes free happy hours and activities every 2 months or so. Lots of dogs. Favorite part is the coffee machine in the lobby where I get coffee-to-go every morning before heading out to work. I am very happy living here and will be sad when I have to move!

I've been living at the Granary for 2 years and have resigned our lease for a third. It's been great. Everything is updated. We're talking all kitchen appliances, washer/dryers, fixtures, flooring - it's all new. The gym, common rec area, and rooftop terrace are amazing. Even better than all of that is the level of service you receive. The staff are so friendly and help with everything from mailing and receiving your packages, to arranging cab rides, to requesting maintenance services, and the list goes on and on. The price may be a bit high for the amount of living space in the actual apartment, but after shopping around we found it to be comparable to other high rise apartments in the area. Very happy with this place!

The Granary is a great property provided you have the bank account to support it! Expect to pay $2,000+ easily for a 1 BR - decent sized, with a gorgeous kitchen. The bedroom for the 1 BR is small - will only fit a Queen and you will need to mount your TV.

It's a shame electric and water is no longer included - it's quite steep ($60-$130 AND $20-30 per month respectively). The amenities are nice - great gym and social center. They used to do happy hour every week, but that's decreased to about once a month, if that.

The rooftop is quite nice, with a grill to boot. Be wary though - apparently you're not longer allowed to have more than X number of visitors depending on the time. For July 4th, there were security guards and you couldn't have more than 4 people upstairs. Liability and all.

Management is very good at taking care of issues when they arise whether it's sanding the nice butcher block island or simply changing the lightbulb.

Again - as long as you're OK with paying the price, the Granary should suit your needs. Great property.
