Great apartment!
Although this may be exclusive to units on the "BR" floor, the windows and ceilings are very tall, and there is practically no noise that comes through the walls from next-door neighbors. The street noise can be a bit loud at times, but I feel the positives outweigh this one negative. The management office is also very responsive to any emails or maintenance requests.

Good but pricey
This place is nice don't get me wrong it's just that it is so expensive then on top of that the laundry is so expensive so its good but could be better it those little things weren't so pricey

Great location
Most studios are reasonably sized and even 1 bedroom apartments are decent. It's an old building, but well maintained. Located in the heart of Center City, so everything's walking distance. 2 subway stations are within 5 min walking distance.

Rough Living
At least my apartment and the ones I saw during my tour were pretty outdated, but being a student I needed a place and the price was cheaper than surrounding buildings. My apartment did not have a dish washer and you had to pay for laundry that was inside the complex. The biggest issue I had was that due to the old infrastructure of the building, there was a lot of cockroaches. Like I killed one daily. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone unless they really were tight on money. The management side was actually really good. I often had no issue getting my maintenance requests done in a timely matter, but other than that, there is not much more positive about it. There was also a door man there, which, is nice since there is a little bit of added safety, but the people in the building were a little "different". My level always smelt like weed and I imagine there was other drugs circulating the complex as well.

Adelphia House
The location of this place is what makes it so awesome. Walk out of the Adelphia house and you are right in the heart of Philadelphia on 13th street, by all the good restaurants and fun bars. The view is great if you get a spot up high. I also have never had a problem with bugs, which is hard to find in some of these old Philadelphia buildings.

Would recommend for students
I have lived at the Adelphia House for a year. I moved here from South Carolina for school, so I really did not know what to expect when coming here.
My experience here thus far has been average. My apartment had a new kitchen and hardwood floors. The location is good for school but the area is a little sketchy.

Midtown Village Reviews
The area is filled with lots of young people. I don't feel unsafe walking around even at night because there are people out all the time. There are a couple of narrow streets I probably wouldn't walk through though.
