I really enjoy the apartment, well maintained facilities.

Has nice amenities and in a good location but management isn’t always the greatest

I think that Decatur is a great place to live for your first year. I have a multiple grocery stores within a 5/10 min drive and there is a Walmart here as well. Its a little quieter but still within driving distance of restaurants and other fun things.

A solid place to live

The apartments are super clean. The in-unit laundry is very helpful. The apartment is all-electric and has bluetooth speakers in the walls. Grocery stores are all very close and it's a quick drive to campus. Easy to make maintenance requests.

I have had a great experience living here. The management is very pleasant and responsive. Service requests are always attended to right away. The amenities are phenomenal.

Pros:

This is a comfortable place to live with a nice rooftop study area, 24/7 coffee (nice for when anatomy hits), not too far from campus, and quality housing. The neighborhood is very safe, with a gate and fob system that adds to peace of mind. The new management (as of Dec 2020) is very on top of things. They used to ignore phone calls so it made it difficult to have issues taken care of.

Cons:

Without a roommate this apartment complex will strain your wallet if you are on a tight budget.

Huge closets, lots of parking, management is very responsive and friendly, maintenance requests answered promptly, individual balconies (2bd/2bath).

Reserve Decatur is great! The management is responsive, and I have been able to get all of my maintenance issues resolved, sometimes on the same day. All of the amenities are luxurious (pool, grills, gym, pool table, etc), and they are all well maintained. The area around the building is developing with lots of new restaurants, which are joining the well-established, delicious Indian restaurants of Patel Plaza, right behind the complex.
