West End Village is great!
I love my apartment at West End Village. I think the apartment is a good value for the area and have had no issues in my time living here. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the building is clean and secure. On the few occasions I have had to file a maintenance request for very minor problems, they responded so quickly, within a day every time! I would definitely recommend it to future graduate students.
Not Bad - Used to be Better
I've lived at the Guthrie for over three years now, and I honestly wouldn't recommend it to anyone to live. I loved it under Greystar management, but when the management changed (about 1 year ago), things fell apart. Currently, the apartment complex is not well-kept (dirty and broken), the staff isn't very friendly, and operations are not efficient. The location is great, as it's in the north end of the Gulch, next to a dog park and Publix, etc.
Great but slightly far
I love our apartment building, it's small and does not have a lot of Vanderbilt students if that's what you're looking for. Very clean, the maintenance staff is amazing, has a pool, gym, and covered parking and the management is very active and responsive. The only downside is that it's slightly away from Owen, it would take us 20 minutes to get to school on foot, so we usually take the bus. The bus takes us 10 minutes to get to campus and is very convenient but we sometimes have to wait for it to arrive.
Good location and apartment
Neighborhood is quiet, residential, and walking distance to campus. Apartment is nice with decent amenities(free coffee, gym, dog run, courtyard). The manager and maintenance have always been responsive. My floor plan has a designated office spacer, which has been great!
Good value price:space
semi convenient location and fair rent price. would be nice to have more natural light and thicker walls.
Great place w/ a great location
The management is great and very quiet for studying. Most people keep to themselves and there is a nice gym and pool. Its about a seven minute drive to the law school.
Excellent Experience
The property is beautiful and well-kept. The staff are friendly and always happy to assist. The management also go out of their way to run free community events and get togethers.
West End Village Is Great Value
Best maintenance and management teams I've ever had in an apartment
Apt review
25 min walk from campus, near bus stop, fairly secure (need key to get in lobby), comes with pool + bbq grills + gym + internet cafe/meeting space + lobby for studying + coffee/snacks, Luxe package system
Parking space is now limited with more residents, also have to pay $30/month starting this year,
I love my apartment!!
Living at Note 16 is amazing. The building is quite new (I think less than 5 years?). The management staff are really nice and super receptive to anything we need. The location is perfect; it’s on music row, and it’s a 10-15 minute walk to EBL (the med school). The neighborhood is super safe. The parking is a gated garage. There are trash and recycling chutes to use. There’s a dog park with fake grass which is super convenient if you have a dog and don’t have time for a walk! The building is absolutely pet friendly and many other people have pets. The other tenets in the apartment are also really nice and super chill. We’ve never had a problem with noise or anything. There’s a free coffee machine in the lobby which is really nice for morning coffee. The gym is quite nice, and it’s never busy. My ONLY downside for the apartment is the price. While it can be on the pricier side, it’s definitely reasonable if you have a roommate. If you don’t do a 2 bed apartment, the studio and 1 bed are pretty reasonable as well.
Expensive, but great community
I've lived in three different apartment units in this complex. The staff are friendly and responsive. The community events are fun. Gym is nice and well-maintained. Pool is open year-round. Pet-friendly with a new dog park. NON-smoking property, which is hard to come by! It is pricey overall, but worth it if you can afford it. Some community amenities are required, like internet and cable, trash valet, water/sewer. Proximity to Hwy 17, I-526, and other points of interest is also helpful.
Average
The location next to Centennial Park is amazing! The apartment is small, but comfortable for us. I wish more amenities were included with the rent.
Great apartment!
Lane Parke has all the amenities and feels super safe. The location is amazing and in walking distance to everything you may need!
Lane Parke
It is an amazing apartment and location is perfect. Paying more for the location and the amenities is worth it to me.
9/10
The elevators can take a really long time which can delay your schedule a little but very nice building with good amenities and management
