I have enjoyed living here so far. Close to a lot of bus stops so easy to get around town. Maintenance always comes super fast which is nice. For the most part it is quiet, although occasionally we hear our neighbors during the day.

Very close to campus. Great building for living with roommates because every bedroom has its own bathroom. Nice pool. Fast elevators (not something you think about when looking for an apartment but it makes such a difference when you are running late!).

Spacious 3 bed/3 bath

The 3 bed/3 bath units in 420 E Ohio are the best 3 bedroom apartments in the area for this price point. The living room is bc huge and great for hosting/entertaining, the windows take full advantage of the lake views/city views/river views, and it is almost impossible to find a 3 bedroom Apt with 3 full bathrooms in Streeterville. In-unit washer dryer is another amenity they have that it’s difficult to find in streeterville

Feinberg med student review

420 East Ohio is a great place to live. It is extremely close to campus and is a beautiful building. The amenities are great (pool, outdoor deck with grills, dry cleaning in building, etc.) The only negative I can think of is that the gym is smaller than I would have liked, but is fine for doing cardio.

No problems so far with the residence, leasing office is questionable.

So far so good! No major problems with my unit or the facility as a whole. Move-in day was a bit confusing as the leasing office could not locate my file, but nonetheless I was able to obtain a key the same day. Units are clean, well-maintained, and the amenities are nice. Packages are a bit annoying to deal with, but I suppose that just comes with living in an apartment.

420 East Ohio is awesome

I love it! Great management, great amenities. They are very understanding when it came to the fact that we are students, and the maintenance team always fixes any issue we have within 1 day of our request. The neighbors are also very nice, and the location couldn't be better!

Maintenance and Management are Great

The maintenance was great, everything was very clean, elevators worked and I didn't have to wait very long for them. Doorman always there and very nice. Subleasing was easy without a problem. Only problem was that the gym wasn't great so I had to get another membership.

Streeterville Reviews

Perfect location for Feinberg, almost feels like a small slice of a college town because so many of your neighbors will be students, residents, nurses, etc at the hospital. You do get sirens fairly often depending on where you live since the emergency room is very close. The neighborhood doesn't have too many restaurants/bars but it is walking distance to River North and Gold Coast and the rest of the city is easily accessed by public transport. Much safer than most neighborhoods in Chicago.
Streeterville is a very nice neighborhood. There are plenty of parks and grocery stores. There is some late night crime due to the location downtown and close to the beach, but overall nothing worse than anywhere else.

There are some more expensive restaurants and fast food places. Navy Pier attracts a lot of tourists and they can be annoying to navigate around.
I enjoy living in Streeterville since it's near many of Chicago attractions without feeling overwhelming like in the Loop. I am able to walk around safely at night and I like going jogging in Millennium Park. My biggest complaint would be the lack of greenery in the area and how the city can feel a little bit insulating at times. Public transportation is great. This area is pricey, which is why I decided to have a roommate.
The Streeterville area was still pretty sleepy when I moved here three years ago. Since then, there has been an incredible amount of development. New luxury apartments and condos are going up, several new restaurants, a brand new target and Whole Foods. Its become a great place for professionals who enjoy living downtown, but without the club crowds in River North.
There are a few buses that are near by that help get residents down to the loop. Also it's pretty easy to walk around and the cross walks are pedestrian friendly. I'm always able to get around by foot and buses/trains. Streeterville is a very safe neighborhood and I've never felt unsafe walking around at night. The streets are well lit.
Noise is not usually too big of an issue in this neighborhood; it's pretty quiet at night.
There are multiple grocery stores nearby for multiple choices. Also there are a bunch of great places to eat so one will not get bored with options.
While on the expensive end in Chicago, streeterville is safe, has all the necessities (look for apts near grocery stores if you don't have a car!!), is super close to school (and most feinberg students so convenient for socializing), and is super close proximity to restaurants and bars.
This building is located in the center of everything you could possibly need. Whole foods and Jewel within walking distance, easy to get to the lake front, and plenty of good restaurants and bars. The only down side is that it does not really have a "neighborhoody" feel.
Love how close we are to the medical school, makes going to class really easy. A lot of students live in Streeterville so it is very easy to hangout with friends. There are also a few coffee shops in the neighborhood that are very fun to study at!
