Station Nine reviews and highlights
- close to bars and great for hosting
- maintenance requests are answered promptly
- great place to live
- small gym
- a little overpriced
- great pool in the summer
- conveniently located
Good place, high rent
It has been a nice and smooth stay at S9, the amenities are decent and well maintained. However, as per Durham, the rent is higher so we pay a premium for the location.

convenient and easy
This is my second year living here and I've really enjoyed the convenience relative to the hospital (by bus or walking) and all the restaurants/grocery store on 9th street. The office is very communicative with pest control (recent roach sightings), and I haven't lost power whereas my classmates who live in other popular communities lose theirs if there is a severe storm.

Location makes it
Enjoy living at Station 9 a lot. The location is ideal, close to Harris Teeter, 9th street and close to the hospital as well.

Ideal location and nice amenities
The location right by 9th Street, Harris Teeter, and a Duke bus stop makes this an ideal place to live! The rent is reasonable for the area, and the amenities (pool, gym, study rooms, common spaces) and monthly events definitely add value. Maintenance is very responsive, although there are some issues with bugs in the summer.

S9 Review
The service is timely provided when needed. No complaints overall.
One thing that stands out is the noise from the A/C - but you would get used to it.

It’s not out of this world by any stretch but does the job and is super close to grocery store, classmates, school, etc.
