Station Nine reviews and highlights
- close to bars and great for hosting
- maintenance requests are answered promptly
- great place to live
- small gym
- a little overpriced
- great pool in the summer
- conveniently located
Station 9 management team is great
Management team is great but facility is a bit old. Easier to have blackouts during certain weather conditions. The upside is that it's very secure and close to bus station if you don't have a car.

Station Nine Review
I have lived at Station Nine for the last two years and it has always been great. Maintenance and the leasing office are super friendly and helpful. There has been little crime worries as well.

Renovations are great but complex is loud at times.
S9 recently renovated most of its units and the renovations are great. No more carpeted living rooms and the kitchen and bathrooms now have marble countertops like B9 and Berkshire Main. The complex can be loud at times especially weekends so make sure you get a unit away from the pool. They are also renovating the gym area which should be nice once finished.

Great location, full of your friends
Live where everyone else does. That’s the whole idea of an MBA. Life will be so much better. You can carpool and you’ll never be alone!

Station 9
Good in terms that everyone lives here. Not so good in terms of amenities, higher than expected rent. Bugs. Harriss Teeter is nearby so that is helpful. Multiple eating joints on the nearby 9th street

Noisy but extremely friendly
It is a nice place, the location is awesome. It could b noisy because it is really a students place.
It is a little bit old fashioned in terms of payments - you can pay with checks (it's free) or with a card (3% above!)

It's nice, not luxury
Station Nine is nice but not luxury.
The floorplans are spacious, well designed, and aesthetically pleasing. The amenities are nice too. There will soon be a two-story fitness center, the pool is nice, etc. All standard things you would expect in a community of this style.
All said, Station Nine is certainly not luxury. The appliances and fixtures are basic. To give you an example, the floors are the stick on kind that peel up easily. In addition, the maintenance team isn't the best.
Overall, Station Nine is overpriced but many Fuqua and other Duke graduates live in the community so you pay a premium to live with your friends.

Overpriced but convenient
S9 is conveniently located to Harris Teeter, bars, restaurants, gyms, etc.
The covered and secure parking area is definitely a nice amenity, but the units are grossly overpriced compared to nearby Berkshire Ninth Street and Berkshire Main apartment complexes - which are similar in price but have much nicer interior amenities.
The gym is very small and the units facing the exterior of the building often get water coming through the ceilings / balcony doors because management simply doesn't know how to seal the openings. This is incredibly annoying.

Very communal; nice amenities
Most MBA students live here, so it has a very communal feel. All the apartments in the 9th street area are overpriced, but Station 9 is the cheapest compared to the others. All the units are newly renovated. There is a gym, free printing, free coffee/tea, clubhouse area, pool/jacuzzi, etc.

The leasing office tries hard and does a great job, everything else needs much to be wanted
If you can afford $100 more per month, please go elsewhere.
