Quiet, beautiful location, great value
This is a quiet, private complex. There are a mix of apartments and single-family homes in this gated community, with sidewalks and beautiful trees throughout, along with a nice pool, a gym, and laundry facilities. Feels very safe and there are a lot of families who live in the houses and larger apartments so there are always kids running around and people out walking their dogs (no college students as far as I know). There are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby and it is only a 10-15 minute drive to campus and a 15-20 minute drive to downtown. While that might be farther from school than some complexes, you have access to lots of trails and parks nearby and this part of town is full of very nice residential neighborhoods. The apartment itself is spacious, with lots of windows and natural light, plenty of closets for storage space, and room for entertaining. Many of the 1-bedroom buildings face trees or undeveloped, natural areas, giving really nice views. The space would be big enough for two people to share if you have a partner. Great for those who prefer a slower pace of life and like living in a neighborhood with families rather than college students.
