Winston Factory Lofts

Me and two other law students lived in the "three" bedroom apartment. The third bedroom was more of an extended closet than a room. This caused us to leave the following year. The apartment is also right next to the train tracks, which produces a lot of noise when it randomly comes at all hours of the day. The building is a refurbished factory, and while that may seem cool, it loses its appeal once you realize how impractical most of the design decisions are. And the high ceiling and windows vastly increase electric bills during the winter. Overall, would not recommend it. Most of the people that lived there moved the following year.

I love my apartment and this living community so much. Building has so much character. Fast maintenance.

Wonderful building, great location. Only problems I've had are spotty internet (not the apartment's fault) and I think the units are a bit more expensive than they ought to be. Also the walls are crazy thin. I can hear my neighbors' dogs nails click on the hardwood through the wall. This doesn't bother me at all, but my neighbors are not pleased when I make even a moderate amount of noise. Better use headphones to listen to music!

I love living at Winston Factory Lofts! We have all the amenities you could ever need (a pool, gym, movie theater, rec room) even if they aren't the most glamorous I've ever seen. The management is great, they host tons of events for residents and keep us updated weekly with what is going on around town. Maintenance also handles requests very quickly. My roommate and I have tons of space in our apartment. Our rooms don't have windows, but light does enter our room from the large living room windows so we don't mind. We also had issues with drain gnats, but maintenance resolved this issue every time I put in the request quickly.

Factory Lofts are great in terms of location and amenities. The units are refurbished from an old Hanes factory, and there are high ceilings and lots of natural light.

Best place to live in Downtown Winston. In a really good location, close to everything you will need to do. Close to breweries like Fiddlin Fish, Wiseman and Incendiary. Also close to Krankies which is a huge deal.

I have loved living at Winston Factory Lofts. My apartment is beautiful with massive two-story windows and a cool industrial interior. The apartment staff is always helpful and quick to respond to questions. The location of the apartment is in downtown Winston-Salem, which is great. It is a very short walk to Bailey Park, the Long Branch Trail, and many restaurants and breweries around the downtown area.

This apartment is amazing for students. It is in a fantastic location downtown, with quick and easy walks to almost any restaurant or bar you'd want to go to. It is also priced very well for students. The only thing not included in the rent is electricity and parking, all other amenities are included. The management is also super responsive to questions or maintenance issues. The apartment often has Food Truck Fridays and fun events throughout the year aligning with holidays or just for fun. Everyone living in the apartment is also incredibly nice.
