great apartments close to school
i really love living here! i can make it to the law school in 10 minutes (a big selling point for someone like me who loves to hit snooze), and i have a ton of space to really feel at home in my apartment.
it's got ample room for my dog, and i can just walk out my back door for her to go outside.
maintenance is always super responsive to me, and all of the staff is very understanding with my school/dog schedule whenever i submit a request.
while it's a little pricey and doesn't have a ton of grad students, i couldn't have asked for a better option! if you're at all interested in the Crowne properties, Crowne Oaks is by far the best choice.

A great place to live, not too far from campus
Crowne Oaks is a great place to live. It's about 20 minutes to walk from there to the law school, but there is a shuttle that goes to campus from Crowne Oaks every 30 minutes. It's easy to get to school, even if you don't have a parking permit on campus. My unit is very nice, recently renovated, and there have hardly been any maintenance issues. It is also a very popular spot to live with lots of other students nearby, but it's very quiet and easy to study there.

Lowkey Living
I love how so many other law students live here, it's like a small community. It is very quiet and kept very clean.

While the complex is outdated the management is friendly and the rent is priced well.

super helpful!
i've had a great experience at crowne oaks. they're super easy to get a hold of via phone call, email, or text, and they always respond to my needs really quickly! also, they give ample notice of required maintenance and are willing to be flexible and reschedule if they can't come that day (I have a dog, so they'll help me schedule a day to ensure I can take her to daycare that day).

Very spacious room and great staff.
Most importantly, the staff at Crowne Oaks is the best I have ever seen at an apartment complex. I have submitted two work orders and both have been completed within 24 hours. In addition, the rooms are large and the kitchens have all of the essentials. I would recommend renting an apartment that includes a washer and dryer, because if issues arise they apartment is responsible. However, this does increase rent. Also, a Wake Forest bus picks up from this complex in the morning, as it is 1.5 miles away from campus.
