Hasbrouck is awesome!!!
I really enjoy living in Hasbrouck as it is very peaceful, clean and organized. I don't have any complaints about the facilities or access. Great place for families with or without kids.

I strongly recommend Hasbrouck
The furniture is a little old but it is quite well maintained. Gas, water, and electricity are all included. The heating system is not bad.

Older apartment but comfy
A little far from the law school to walk, but a quick bus ride away. Definitely an older apartment but comfy enough. Getting packages or food deliveries here can be a pain. I believe parking is included, but I don't have a car so don't know.

Hasbrock Review by Law Student
The apartment itself is fine. Considering the room comes furnished and utilities are included, the price is pretty good. For me, personally, I apparently assumed somebody else's room contract when I got here, a fact that was totally unbeknownst to me. As a result the room was someone unpleasant when I first arrived. Since then, however, I have had no real issues. The heat works, the water works, there is really nothing negative to be said about the qualitity of the apartment given the pricepoint and the reality that it is a housing option provided by the university. That being said, the community is more family oriented and I am single, which makes for a desire to not socialize with my fellow residents, but it also makes for a much safer feeling community. In terms of location, I go back and forth between liking and hating the distance from my apartment to campus and my school. It is nice because it gives me some sense of separation, but it is unpleasant in that most of my peers live past the law school and going to school basically requires me to be at the bus' mercy. Lastly, while on the topic of transportation, having to pay over $700 for a parking permit that solely allows me to park within my apartment community, and no other Cornell property, is something that bothers me.
