Good location for the law school and reasonable price
Pros: The building is close to the law school and the apartment is priced reasonably. I lived here for two years and the landlord didn't raise my rent the second year. The landlord is responsive to any maintenance issues. Lots of closet space. Wooden floors. There's a sunroom with a decent view
Cons: It's an old building so dust collects easily. No washer or dryer in the building. Thermostat is central to the entire building so other tenants can change the temperature. Huge radiator in the living space (keeps you warm but it's ugly). Bugs get in sometimes. Can hear neighbors sometimes.

Good location for the law school and reasonable price
High ceilings in first floor. Apartment is very reasonably priced. The property manager is responsive. Location is near Collegetown and close to the law school and close enough to Central.
Very little sound insulation, though, within the apartment building and with the outside.

Exactly what I need as an independent student
Perfect amount of space for a tidy, single, law student living alone. Hot water, electricity, and heat are all reliable. Floors are extremely thin, which can at times be distracting and annoying. However, having lived in and coming from an urban dwelling, the noise becomes bearable. There are no pets allowed in the unit which made the apartment search easier. Lastly, the landlord (though only having shared with me his work telephone number) is very responsive and cooperative. I intend to renew my one-year lease for this apartment for the 3L academic year.
