Good experience
Overall Post Briarcliff has been a good experience and 100% met my needs for my 2 years here in Atlanta. The apartments are spacious and the complex offers a lot of amenities. If you are looking for a place with character, then this complex isn't for you.

Has everything I want in an APT but...
I'm an owner of a dog that needs a lot of exercise and there is no dog park in close proximity where I can take him. I've had a great experience thus far and would recommend Post to a lot of people, but I went from taking my dog to a dog park every day to relying on walking him and throwing tennis balls to him in the tennis courts.

Post Briarcliff
Very well maintained apartment complex. Good community, probably 70% residents are going or went to Emory.
Very decent gym.
Apartments are ok.
Maintenance staff has always been very quick to respond.
Location is great. Whole foods next door and everything else is close by.

I really like Post
Pros:
- Good location
- Efficient management
- Great amenities
- A lot of Emory students live here, so it's nice to do study meetings and parties
Cons:
- Shuttle to Emory is not as frequent as in Campus Crossings, for example
- No furnished apartments
-

Not international student friendly
My room is at the terrace level and it is very dark. People should take care of the furniture, which is very annoying for international students. The shuttle is not very convenient. Overall, Post is good for people with car and furniture.

Great for those new to Atlanta!
I've really enjoyed living at Post. Simply because many new grad students end up living here (undergraduates aren't allowed), this ends up being a pretty social spot as many classmates will live here. For that reason, it's great for those who are new to Atlanta due to proximity to those people!

Business Student Hub
While the apartments are nice, spacious and safe, my favorite part about Post Briarcliff is that SO many of my fellow students live there. I love bumping into friends each day and being able to catch up. It's also nice to walk over to a friend's house or make dinner together.

Post is standard, but great
Post Briarcliff is what could be referred to as '90s luxury. No marble counter tops, but speakers embedded in the wall you need a receiver to plug into. That being said, it is very close to school, close to all the places MBA students like to go, and a huge number of MBA students live there. I think it is the perfect place to live while an MBA student. Nothing to write home about, but everything you need.

Bungalow at Post
We live in a bungalow at Post Briarcliff, which essentially just means our apartment has an attached garage below. It is a great deal, and I notice more variety in apartment layouts than other apartment complexes.
Post is a wonderful apartment complex to live in while at GBS. It is very close to school, and many students live here. A plus is that Post does not allow undergraduates to live here, so it is quieter than some other apartment complexes. We never hear our neighbors, yet it is also a social place- especially by the pool when it's warm out. Management is easy to work with; repairs and maintenance are almost always day-of. Gym is in good condition with several treadmills, ellipticals, and weight machines. TVs on every treadmill and elliptical.

Spectacular building
Post Briarcliff is quite spectacular and the gothic-style architecture is stunning. With more than 20,000 square feet, it's the perfect place to throw epic parties. The Olympic size swimming pool adds to the place's glamour as well. Luckily, there are no nearby neighbors so we haven't had any issues with noise complaints. Unfortunately, the mansion is not metro-accessible so it's a little hard to get around, but the four-car garage makes up for that. It would be nice if there were nearby dining and nightlife options. While a little over-priced, the Gatsby Mansion has been an excellent place to live.

Golden Drop Cafe--which has outdoor seating incase the pandemic is still uncontrolled when you read this--is just 3 min. down the road. Mason Mill Park, which has tennis courts, a pavillion, and walking trails, is also very near.
