Great
I've enjoyed living here. They are Nice apartments. I also really Like the area. Easy commute. I've been happy here and look forward to resigning my lease and being here even longer. It is close to my job and price of rent is fair and it feels like w safe place to live.

Wouldn't recommend
Based on my experience with this complex and I have lived here for two years, I would not recommend it to nobody. It is not close to public transportation, very little sunlight, not safe and the management is ok. The only thing this apartment has going for it is the amenities.

Great location, but building can use improvements
This apartment is right by Piedmont Park which is awesome, but the building isn't maintained to the standard of what you pay for rent. Though if you file a service request, they come out relatively quickly. The unit was not ready for me despite moving in nearly 3 weeks after my start date. They also are unorganized, no one had the mail key for my unit and I literally had to chase down the mail lady to get them to change it. Its a nice apartment and layout, but for any place where water stands for awhile turns into black mold. Its pretty nasty. Choose this place for the location and subpar building maintenance.

1045 on the Park
If you want convenience/location, this is the place to be. It is a stone's throw from Piedmont Park. Safety has never been an issue. Parking is in either of 2 covered/gated garage, and unless you pay for reserved parking it may be an issue to find parking after rush hour. The amenities include 24 hr gym, outside patio/grill, dog park within the complex itself. Each apartment has a nice balcony. The building is new, albeit somewhat cheaply made. Cheap paint is used so it scuffs easily. Good hardwood floors. Good kitchen with granite countertops WITH an island with generous space. Bathrooms are nice. The main issue with bathrooms is that the water heater to each unit is small and only expect to have a limited hot shower. Storage space is sparse. Location, again, is excellent. Amenities are good. Living space is good, but you will definitely pay expensive Midtown rates

Midtown Reviews
Nighttime is very dependent on where you live, but there can be a lot of noise from street racing and other safety issues.
That being said, northern midtown is a great area and allows an easy commute to campus.
Extremely LGBTQ friendly area, especially at the corner of 10th and Piedmont. More skewed towards gay men than lesbians, though.
Crime is something of a rollercoaster - things will seem great for a while and then there'll be a few armed muggings or house robberies and everyone freaks out. Pay attention to your surroundings and don't be afraid to call the police if you feel unsafe! Basic advice for anywhere in the city, really.
