Eaves Glover Park reviews and highlights
- Easy access to groceries, bars, and restaurants
- Located in Glover Park
- Building is older
- Apartment is very spacious
- Lots of storage space
- Close enough to Georgetown University
A fair experience for my first single apartment
This was my first single apartment after moving to D.C. It had its fair amount of positives and negatives. The apartment is definitely more spacious than most, except for the restroom. There is plenty of storage space, the air conditioning and heating unit works well, and the building feels secure. I have an outdoor parking spot which I have not had any problems with. There has not been any pest issues. Overall, the quality of the apartment is average. The paint work and flooring is not great, if you're looking for something more clean and modern. Lighting is on the dim side so I purchased 4 lamps in the first few months of living here. The walls are thin so you can hear neighbors in muffled voices, but if you don't mind a little background noise here and there, it's nothing major.

Affordable, surprisingly spacious, responsive mgmt, and close to GU!
Studio apartment that is surprisingly large with a weird alcove space that kinda doubles as a small extra room right before the bathroom. LOTS of storage with one large closet, one medium closet, and one small linen closet. Kitchen is fully equipped. Lots of light from a wall of windows, but it doesn't reach all the way across the apartment - I keep my office space right near the windows to make up for it. Facilities is very prompt on service requests and all of the staff are incredibly friendly. Mini gym in the basement, rooftop space as well. +$50 for pet fees (cats are allowed, dogs with special accommodations). Right near a Trader Joe's, Safeway, CVS, with several restaurant options nearby. Very close to Georgetown campus. I moved in at the peak of COVID so I haven't made friends in the complex, so can't really speak to the social scene that may have been the case in the past? Not really social now. Right next to the Russian Embassy so super safe.

Love it here
Great apartment, close to Wisconsin (bars, restaurants, grocery stores). Walking distance to campus (15-20 minutes). Not as much storage space, but pretty spacious layout.

Great spacious apartments. Helpful front desk staff. Quick to do repairs. Gym and laundry in the building. Can register with DMV for street parking or pay with apartment building

Well run apartment but expensive
I've enjoyed living here- it's quiet, close to campus and well run. Any maintenance issues are quickly resolved. However, they have increased our rent each year by a significant amount (~$200/month increase with each lease renewal).

Full featured building, mid-level quality residence
The building offers decent amenities, like a 24 hour concierge and a fitness center (mainly cardio machines, a few dumbbells and a cable machine). Units are very decently sized for the price. The quality of the units is pretty average. Outdated appliances, low quality counters and cabinets, subpar heating and cooling. But nice hardwood floors, nicely cleaned and repainted before every new tenant. Maintenance is usually very responsive. Parking is not included, and pretty expensive, about $190 per month.

Love it!
Living in these apartments offer the best of both city life as well as quiet suburban life. The neighborhood is clean, apartment staff is very friendly with 24 hr concierge and the apartment is great with lots of natural light. The free maintenance is an added benefit which is really helpful because plumbers etc in DC are really expensive. I love it here!

Good value
The building shows some wear but is mostly well-maintained. If you have any issues they are pretty quick to respond. The concierge is a plus for getting packages, and they send you an email to let you know when one has arrived. It's a short walking distance to Glover Park and 30-buses. I wish it were closer to metro train lines but there's a D2 bus right out back that takes you straight to Dupont. Parking is overpriced but standard for DC!

Good for Money
You get a big space for what you pay - close to georgetown but not close to the metro. Wish there was another bathroom. Although, apartment in itself is nice, clean, big and has everything you need! Another thing that is good is that utilities and internet is included in the price, although, the amenities are so/so.

Glover Park Reviews
The only downside is poor public transportation access. There are no metro stops nearby. There is one bus (D2) right outside, which goes to Dupont Circle. Buses like 30, 31, and 33 are also accessible by a short walk. Not bad overall, but can make commutes somewhat long.
