Overall rating 9.5/10, based on 2 renter reviews Write a review
Highly recommend for families/couples. A bit far from school, but comfortable living.
So far my experience is almost 100/100 with this apartment. It's fairly convenient to grocery stores, shopping mall, target, movie theater, CSV and Walgreens. But it's far from campus, you HAVE TO take the bus.
The apartment has 4 gyms in each of the 4 buildings in the complex. Very new and modern looking. I heard the building was built less than 5 years ago, and it does feel super new as well. Highly recommended to people who have a family and are not living alone.

Quiet & Beautiful, but Spendy
I love living at the Lodge. We have a beautiful view of the golf course, have stylish hardwood floor, stainless steel appliances, granite counters, and in unit washer/drier.
It is super quiet in this complex. I think mostly medical students and elderly live here. This is NOT for those who want to be heart of downtown, but rather close by.
Getting to the university is easy. I take the bus, which is a straight shot down University Ave., and depending on which one you take, is around 10 minutes
The Lodge is technically a part of Shorewood Hills, so we have access to the HOA amenities- discounted golf fees, neighborhood pool, etc. We have the Hilldale shopping mall right across the street, as well as a mega Target, and Pick & Save two blocks away.
That all said, this place is definitely on the more expensive side. But if you're looking to live in a clean, safe, stylish neighborhood, away from downtown, but close enough by bus, I would recommend checking it out.
