I live with my fiance and our cat and we wanted a two bed to have an office space for working from home. I prefer living a bit away from campus since I like to keep work-life boundaries, and it keeps me from staying in the library until 9pm. However, it does mean that I have about a half hour commute every day.
Things to note: the walls are kind of thin, you can hear neighbors loudly going up the stairs or if the tv is up super loud but not much else. There aren't really overhead lights so you will need lamps. No pantry space, so we bought a shelf to keep stuff on. Living room and bedrooms feel pretty big. There is a gym with a couple cardio machines and dumbbells. Laundry is on a card, we save money on it by having a drying rack inside to put towels and other thicker stuff on to dry. The air is kind of dry, we had to get a humidifier. Thus far our electricity bill (only utility we pay for) has been about 100/month. Plenty of fridge space for meal prep, limited counter space but you can make it work especially with all the cabinet space.
