Good Area, Decent Apartment
The apartments are pretty large and have updated fixtures, but you're paying for the location more than anything else. You're right in the Mosaic District and they have tons of restaurants, shops, and a movie theater. Management is friendly in person, but tends to be very reserved and unhelpful via email/phone. Maintenance can also be super slow, and they'll let themselves into your apt without permission. They busted in at 3 am one night because of a water leakage issue and didn't try calling or knocking first. Its about a 25 minute walk from the metro (but they have a shuttle on work days)

Great!
The property and management are great. The Mosaic District also provides free shuttle service, Monday through Friday during rush hour-hours that picks up right in front of the building and drops off at Dunn Loring Metro Station (Orange Line).

Great Mini-Arlington
Avalon Mosaic is situated in a fast growing shopping center of Mosaic District. The Avalon's prices are much much more reasonable than the Modera right next door for similar or nicer apartments.
