Love living here!
I love living at 535 N Michigan! I've had a great experience with everyone who works here - the staff are incredibly friendly and work to get to know you, your fellow residents are a combination of seniors, some families, and then fellow young adults either in school or working - so theres quite a variety. The location couldn't be much more convenient for getting to Feinberg - its a 5-10 min walk depending on which part of campus you're going to and how fast you walk. The Red Line is a 5 min walk away, and many of the bus lines stop right outside of the front door of the building, so its easy to get to other parts of chicago. The building is also all condos, so that means if you're renting, you're renting directly from an owner rather than apartment building management, so theres a lot of variety in the prices of units.

535 N Michigan Ave Review
I love living in my apartment. There's a lovely gym, pool, and study space on the top floor of the apartment with great views. The staff are super friendly. It's a condo building, so the average age of people living in the building is a bit older than some other nearby buildings, which is great in terms of volume control. Being right on N Michigan ave is super convenient to get places. There are a number of buses that stop right outside the building or within 2 blocks, as well as the Red Line being a 5 minute walk away.

Perfect spot for North-side commute to HP
Great option if you want to live North of downtown but still have easy access to transit to Hyde Park (#2 bus and metra both allow for a < 45 minute communte); actual apartment quality can vary substantially from unit to unit, but generally is very affordable and high-quality units are available

Spacy 1BR in Streeterville
Wonderful building with wonderful management and staff. Perfect for couples with one partner working on the Northside or Evanston. The 2 bus stops at the door, and the building is within 3 blocks of three grocery stores, two movie theaters, and most importantly, a Chipotle. Extremely quiet building with lots of owners still there. Most renters are young professionals and/or Northwestern med students. It is an older building with a mix of older units and renovated units, but the size makes it worth it even for the older units. Not a ton of light in our unit, but let's be real, you won't be home much during daylight hours anyway. We found our unit through Studentspaces.com--highly recommended and free.

Quiet, spacious, but the vent is annoyingly placed
Everything about this place is fantastic, except that the common vent in the kitchen runs behind the cabinets. So although I don't cook, I know when my neighbors are which is a tad annoying. The management is great and responds to requests on time. The doormen are the best and friendly. It’s all about location, location and location.

Magnificent Mile Reviews
Cons: 35-50 minute commute via the 2 to Hyde Park (but it's a great bus! Mostly U of C commuters and very reliable.)
