Reasonably priced and safe apartment
The apartments complexes in this neighborhood are on the older side in general. But management for my apartment complex has been super responsive to maintenance issues and has been great in the up-keep. (Actually, the managing company for my apartment only just changed this week to Avesta Homes, so I do not know if will keep being great in the future.)

Good for students
Pros of the apartment:
1. Cheaper rent
2. Near to UT bus stop and HEB (walking distant)
3. Hot water in bathroom is getting hot fast
Cons:
1. Slow maintenance
2. Dirty pool
3. Damaged Basketball hoop
4. Old and problematic facilities in apartment (e.g., old and inefficient oven, problematic sink, problematic flush toilet, problematic and inefficient AC

Quiet and convenient location for Grad students!
Oak Ridge apartment is convenient and within close proximity to a lot of useful facilities like HEB, post offices, fast food chains, and UT shuttle bus stops. The area is very quiet, perfect for graduate students like me who are looking for a decent environment to study and live.

Not a good value for the money
It was disappointing for the price. Building and appliances were really old. Stains and rusts when we entered. Maintenance requests are being attended in about a week and did not really fix the problem. E.g. Our kitchen sink was clogged for the entire time we stayed there although the maintenance came to look at it a few times. On the bright side, the location was great and the neighborhood is pretty safe.
