Great Apartment, Amentities, Staff but Expensive

Gables DuPont is an incredible spot with plenty of room, great support staff, and onsite gym and parking. The rent is a bit high but it is perfect for two law students heading to firms post grad.

Nice but needs work

This apartment is overall is a nice place to live. It's a little over priced since it's near Dupont Circle, but it's a nice place. Management needs a little work. Some of management is slightly rude, but overall they're generally helpful and quick to fix a problem of yours should you have one.

Overall, it's good

The location is simply unbeatable. It's two blocks to the Dupont Circle metro for all of your commuting needs. I found the management to be less than friendly, but it's okay if you don't need them too much. Stunning units. I would live here again but the area is pricy!

Great neighborhood. Very walkable, even at night I always feel safe. Usually lots of people out and about. Young community, lots of bars and some awesome restaurants. Farmers markets and outside concerts in the warm months. Easy access to foggy bottom metro (15min walk) and dupont metro (5 min walk). Lots of green space (rock creek park). Georgetown 20 min walk with great shopping. 20 min walk to AdMo with great restaurants/bars

I love the neighborhood! Perfectly situated between Dupont Circle and Foggy Bottom. Walking distance to campus, while still being separate enough to feel independent. Tons of restaurants, bars, and stores around. The neighborhood feels very safe but is quiet and residential, too.

Dupont Circle is a great area. I like that my block feels very residential, but I'm close to convenience stores, the Metro, and only a 15-20 minute walk to the law school. Sometimes I walk over to Georgetown, which is nice.

I have never felt unsafe walking home at night from campus. The area is mostly embassies and very fancy apartments and townhouses.

Hamilton House is located in the crossings of West End, Foggy Bottom, and DuPont. It is a very clean, classy area. Super incredible how you can walk down the street to old-town DC, walk down another street and its all clubs and bars of DuPont, walk the other direction and its GW, walk another direction and its DuPont circle and all the incredible food. This is an ideal location, especially being situated right in between Foggy Bottom / GW Metro stop and the DuPont Metro stop.
