Great

The building is beautiful and quiet. Living in Dupont Circle is perfect! It's the ideal, walkable distance from school and feels really safe and nice.

The Preston

The best thing about The Preston is the management. Randy and his team are fantastic and go above and beyond. This was the first apartment complex I've lived in to solicit maintenance requests from tenants first, and they all seem to be resolved very quickly and to a high standard.

The only reason why I would move out is because I live on the basement floor, and there is very little natural light that reflects into my apartment. Other than this, the apartment is super close to Dupont Circle, albeit the rats, though, I haven't spotted any on/too near The Preston's premises.

I also appreciate the in-unit washer and dryer, that most utilities are included in the rent, and that the unit is well maintained being that it is a "boutique building."

Great neighborhood. Very walkable, even at night I always feel safe. Usually lots of people out and about. Young community, lots of bars and some awesome restaurants. Farmers markets and outside concerts in the warm months. Easy access to foggy bottom metro (15min walk) and dupont metro (5 min walk). Lots of green space (rock creek park). Georgetown 20 min walk with great shopping. 20 min walk to AdMo with great restaurants/bars
I love the neighborhood! Perfectly situated between Dupont Circle and Foggy Bottom. Walking distance to campus, while still being separate enough to feel independent. Tons of restaurants, bars, and stores around. The neighborhood feels very safe but is quiet and residential, too.
Dupont Circle is a great area. I like that my block feels very residential, but I'm close to convenience stores, the Metro, and only a 15-20 minute walk to the law school. Sometimes I walk over to Georgetown, which is nice.
I have never felt unsafe walking home at night from campus. The area is mostly embassies and very fancy apartments and townhouses.
could not be happier. i love having a safe space away from the law school
West End is amazing! Such great restaurants and stores around!
Amazing food and restaurants all within walking distance
Hamilton House is located in the crossings of West End, Foggy Bottom, and DuPont. It is a very clean, classy area. Super incredible how you can walk down the street to old-town DC, walk down another street and its all clubs and bars of DuPont, walk the other direction and its GW, walk another direction and its DuPont circle and all the incredible food. This is an ideal location, especially being situated right in between Foggy Bottom / GW Metro stop and the DuPont Metro stop.
