Center of Redmond

If you like the Redmond area, it is a great place - it is nearby the local grocery stores, the main Starbucks and a few restaurants on Redmond Way. Management is nice and the apartments are clean and well maintained.

I work from home and I would not say this location is the best for that situation. Our upstairs neighbors have kids and the kids like to run up and down their apartment in the afternoon, in the morning, and at night. Internet connectivity / phone service is also pretty poor in the apartment.

Ideal for families, and pets, but not ideal for young couples.

Great but costly

I have no complaints other than price (which is probably why the price is high.) Great location, kind staff, very responsive to maintenance requests. I love how pet friendly the apartment is, because even though I don't own a pet, I get to see them and pet them all the time. :)

Good place to live

I've been living here for over a year now and really like it. The common areas are always clean and are nice if you want to have people over. The gym has good equipment and machines. The Studio doesn't feel too small and the bathroom is big. Walls are a bit thin and I can hear my neighbors when they watch loud TV or have guests. The floors are very squeaky so I can hear the people that live in the upper floor walking very easily. Grocery store is near and access to freeway is quick. Overall a good place to live if you work nearby.

Getting around Redmond

Redmond Reviews

There has not been a big focus on the part of the city to develop its economy like other cities are doing. Their policies state that they seek to develop a vibrant downtown. Vibrant it is not. It's pretty dead, and there are no good restaurant choices. I can't wait to leave.
There is good public transportation into Downtown Seattle. It isn't super busy which I appreciate. Things are a little bit spaced out, but still everything that I use is within a half mile. My commute is less than 30 minutes by bus or 20 minutes by car, and my wife can walk 5 minutes to her work.
Closer to Microsoft campus.
Lot of Indians and as well as access to Indian groceries shops and restaurants.
Place is closer to both RTC(Redmond town center and Bellevue square mall)
Lots of great food options, bars, shops, grocery stores. Safe. Lively.
The centrally located transit center (bus lines to Bellevue and Seattle), spacious mall, and walkable shopping options (Trader Joes, QFC & Target) make Redmond an ideal neighborhood for singles and families alike. School are great, night life (local bars) are okay, and fine and family dining are all nearby. Welcome home!
Pros: Close to stores, close to park and main highway. Great staff, free parking, walking distance to local gym and grocery. Close to schools.

Cons: Tiny gym, parking garage door not working.
Neighborhood is close to work and public transit with good quality parks and walking trails. There is no grocery store or retail shop at walking distance.
