Its okay for what it is
I share a 1 bedroom with a roommate. Apartment is spacious and not too too noisy, neighbors are chill.

Castle Hill Apartments
Solid value, particularly for a one-bedroom apartment. My only complaint is more about the social scene than anything else. While I appreciate the short walk to the law school and proximity to good take-out restaurants and the activities on Baltimore Ave., the area is definitely quieter than Center City and has less going on.

Castle Hill
I have a spacious studio apartment with hardwood floors and LOTS of closet space in a great location in University City/Spruce Hill. Local 44 and several other great restaurants are just down the block and there's a 24-hr CVS on the corner. The 42 bus picks up across the street, Clark Park is a 5 minute walk, and Penn is 1 mile away. I do think rent is mildly high (and has been going up $20/mo. each year) considering it is an old building without any updated features (the kitchen and bathroom are old), but internet, water, heat, and gas are included. Management is responsive and helpful. Cats are allowed in this building, but not dogs. I have been very happy living here and have had no issues.
