It's Great
As a student, this place is an excellent place to stay. The gym is within five minutes walking distance, the quality is nice, the floor plans are well laid out. The views of the golf course are fun and make it feel less like a city.
The only downside is that because it is on a golf course, very rarely your car might get hit with a golf ball.

Ideal complex
My husband and I have been at Fairways for just over a month and absolutely love it. We love that it is tucked behind another complex (and along a golf course) and feels quiet and secure while also being so close to everything along Green Valley Parkway. It's about a 20 minute drive from UNLV campus and is definitely one more of the more expensive places we looked at- but we really feel it is worth the price. The complex has two fantastic pools, a great gym, and we've never had an issue with finding a parking spot close to our building. Really close to the fun Pittman Wash trail. The maintenance team has been super responsive for the few little things we've needed fixed. Can't say enough good things about this complex.
