The Park in The Village reviews and highlights
- reasonable rent
- older apartment complex
- very convenient location in the Metroplex
better as compared to other village areas
1. Find your apartment near the shuttle bus stop.
2. Go for a lease if you feel comfortable with your apartment partners
3. Try to find an apartment as soon as possible.
4. Don't hurry to book an apartment; you can get a better apartment at a cheaper price if you search properly.

Okay apartment
Lots of roaches in the beginning. Had 5 within the first month of living there. Good location, nice amenities, but outdated apartments. Old interior, cracks in the walls and baseboards. Thin walls. Would rather live in a nicer updated building without pest issues.

It is good as long as you have good neighbors
The apartment is good in general. It is cheap and affordable. I have three complaints.
First, you can smell marijuana in your own room if your neighbors smoke it. And the smell of marijuana is not uncommon in the Village Apartments.
Second, some residents here are not always "good" guys. Someone put a sticker with sexual assault languages on my door. Please be careful if you are a female living alone.
Third, if your neighbors are noisy you will be 100% affected.
But the location of the apartment is good with many stores and restaurants nearby. The bus stops are close to my apartment too.

The Park in the Village
It's fine. The service is usually pretty good. Close to SMU. Parking can be tight in some areas. Maint. is very quick to respond. Pretty park in the center of the Village. Fitness center is above adequate for most people (non professional/semi professional athletes). Good pool and grill.
I've lived in a few cities now and I find it good value for money and location.
The village hosts a lot of social events as well. I do not attend them often.
