Expensive but excellent

It's expensive but very well managed. Any problems are addressed immediately. The apartments are very nice. I would consider this a luxury complex. Sound insulation is quite good. Friendly neighbors in my experience. Depending when your lease starts, you can likely get a similar apartment for significantly less than I paid. July/August seems to be the time for the highest rent prices

Camden is a great choice!

I have really enjoyed my experience at Camden Music Row. I live on the side facing Division, and it's incredibly quiet. My unit is spacious and has far more storage than other buildings I toured. The views are lovely and the units are so bright. Management is fairly quick to respond to maintenance issues. Even though it's a high rise, the elevators are speedy. It's a 10-15 minute walk to Owen or a quick drive, so very convenient. I also appreciate the gated parking and feel safe here. Though it's on the expensive side, the amenities are worth it. I would definitely recommend Camden.

Camden review

I really like it here, it can be a little loud on the weekends given that it’s on music row, but it’s also a great location for school and access to things to do in the city. The traffic circle in front of the building can get backed up at times.

Oak Park Place is Home

10 management rating Reviewed by on

OPP is definitely a place I can comfortably call home. It is where my kitty & I live out each day, enjoying our own personal space, while in community with other residents in the building. Management does a great job in keeping us connected, putting on several social events throughout the year. I take advantage of the connected parking garage, both for safety and ease. I also love the in-house gym, secure package room, & the communal spaces that I find myself studying in frequently. I also adore that it is within walking distance to several grocery stores, including steps away from Trader Joe’s. It is also surrounded by the charming neighborhood of Oak Park, where you can find anything and everything you could ever need, including excellent restaurants, coffee shops, movie theater, farmer’s market, and city-run social events. A special perk is having Petco down the road for all those looking for a great place to live with a furry friend. Also, it is an easy 10-15min drive to Loyola’s medical campus or an easy 30min drive to downtown.

Management is difficult to work with at times. I was told incorrect information when I first moved in. The facilities are great. Heating/Cooling is often not working correctly.

better as compared to other village areas

1. Find your apartment near the shuttle bus stop.
2. Go for a lease if you feel comfortable with your apartment partners
3. Try to find an apartment as soon as possible.
4. Don't hurry to book an apartment; you can get a better apartment at a cheaper price if you search properly.

My experience at The Village Green

9 management rating Reviewed by on

It's one of the best places found close to SMU for an international student as it is also close to bus stops and grocery stores. Plus the greenary surrounding the apartments, the gym, and the lake nearby provides ample opportunities to relax and study. I have always found the Village Green to be quiet and comfortable.

Great area, but pricey

There's a lot to like about Dakota. The area is clean and mostly quiet. The maintenance is fantastic. The Village amenities are great (but are factored into rent prices). They make you pay for valet trash. I would recommend this place if your priorities are location, maintenance, and general safety. Otherwise, you can find the same quality apartments in different parts of Dallas for much cheaper.

Okay apartment

Lots of roaches in the beginning. Had 5 within the first month of living there. Good location, nice amenities, but outdated apartments. Old interior, cracks in the walls and baseboards. Thin walls. Would rather live in a nicer updated building without pest issues.
