Kaufmann Apartments
I truly love living here. They have events weekly that are free and you can bring your friends. The amenities are a huge plus along with the location compared to the law school.

Kaufmann's is a great place to live and is close to campus
Kaufmann's is worth the price. Located right in downtown Pittsburgh, Kaufmann's is a less than 15 minute walk from campus. Additionally, there is great 24 hour security, which makes living alone feel a lot less daunting. There is always something to do at Kaufmann's as there are great amenities, including a rooftop pool, basketball court, gym, study rooms, theater room and dog park.

Location!!
I have really loved living there because of the proximity to the law school , courthouses, and employers in the city. I am lucky to not need to worry about parking on campus. The staff are so friendly and the units themselves are nice. The amenities, especially the gym and the rooftop areas are amazing. My studio is way too expensive for what it is, but the unit pricing fluctuates, so you can get a better deal at other times than when I bought.

Can't say I recommend it
I lived here for a year, and I have some serious concerns about my experience. Despite leaving the apartment in better condition than when I moved in, I was charged both a cleaning fee and a painting fee. If you happen to leave furniture in the loading dock—alongside everyone else's—be prepared for an unexpected $350 charge, with no prior warning. Additionally, my living situation was made uncomfortable by a neighbor who works in maintenance and sent me inappropriate messages. I reached out to the staff for help, but they did nothing to address the issue. Another downside is that if you’re in a one-bedroom, you only receive one key, with no spare available. Given the frustrating move-out process, the unexpected charges that completely wiped out my deposit, and the overall unsafe environment due to my neighbor's behavior, I can’t recommend living here. I would say these apartments aren't worth the cost, there are cheaper options in the area with either the same issues or less issues, so might as well try others.

Kaufmann's a great place to live
When you live at Kaufmann Grand, you definitely get what you pay for. The apartments are spacious with high ceilings. The security at the front door is unlike any other building in the downtown area. Kaufmann's is a great place to live if you are interested in living alone. The 24/7 front desk security ensures you always feel safe. In addition to that there is a parking garage inside the building, a gym, and spacious rooftop (with a pool), and a variety of other amenities that you won't get at other apartment buildings.
