2277 S Overlook Rd

Have had no issues whatsoever. Landlord has been amazing and the location is great. Only wish it wasn't a duplex.

This is a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom vertical duplex (other side is 2275 S Overlook Road). The house is very roomy with wide-open living and dining rooms and a recently updated kitchen that includes a dishwasher. The second floor features three bedrooms and one bath. The third floor houses the second bath, the fourth bedroom, and another small room that is ideal for an office or walk in closet. Ample storage is space is found in an additional third floor storage room or the basement, which also houses the washer/dryer. Parking behind the house is shared with 2275 and includes 2 garage spots and 3-4 uncovered spots. Landlady Jane Rosenberg is very friendly and very responsive. The neighborhood is residential and very safe. 5-10 minutes walk to nearby restaurants and bars in Cedar-Fairmount and 20-25 minutes walk downhill to Case's campus.

House is 4br/2ba, large and comes with dishwasher and washer/dryer units. Only 2-3 parking spots per side of the duplex, so 2 of us currently have to park in a lot down the street.
Radiators are the only source of heat, and there is no A/C. Generally the house is very old and creaky. The windows are not sealed, and the electrical wiring is old enough that we blow fuses if we aren't careful about what is plugged in where. All things considered, its a nice space for a beyond fair price.

I've lived in this house for four years with three roommates and I couldn't be happier. This four bedroom house has great shared common spaces, including a recently renovated kitchen, along with tons of storage space; there's also a terrific front porch and front/back garden space. The residential neighborhood is very safe; walking distance to Case campus and to the Cedar-Fairmount restaurants and business. The landlady has done a great job maintaining the house and is incredibly responsive when we have issues. The only downside is that the house is a duplex and the driveway/two car garage are shared with the neighbors, which means some communication and/or compromise is required.
