West Village. Phase II loft
The apartments have a great feel. They are built into old tobacco warehouses. Depending on if you get phase I or phase II, you might or might not have an updated apartment. Phase II are all updated. The area is great from a restaurant and bars standpoint. Safety could be better. The building is secure, but Durham can be a little rough around the edges. One big benefit is the parking situation is pretty good for downtown living. There is a massive garage and an outdoor lot for parking. Last, the apartments have great outdoor areas for residents to sit, grill, and hangout. There are two pool areas. There are also a few nice courtyards in between the buildings.
