Cute cozy but small and old

I live in a small 1 bedroom (almost 500 sq feet) in an old house divided into apartments. Pros: high ceilings, wood floors, lots of light, good location, quiet neighbors, outdoor space, responsive management, allows cats and no pet rent just a refundable deposit. Cons: really expensive for a tiny place, old house means plumbing problems, shared coin operated laundry, tiny terrible kitchen, squirrels get in the walls sometimes but the management sets humane traps and gets them out.
